Hotel Schweizerhof Bern & Spa

Wir waren mit einem Baby da, und das Zimmer wurde schon perfekt vorbereitet. Das Zimmer ist großzügig (King Room) und ist bestens ausgestattet und verarbeitet. Sicher nicht veraltet, wie in manchen anderen Premiumhotels. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Frühstück ist gut und frisch, mit guter Auswahl, aber nicht riesig. Spa haben wir nicht benützt. In der Bar unten, kann man auch gut essen. Preise sind hoch aber vertretbar. Insgesamt war die Erfahrung sehr gut und wir kommen gern wieder.

Excellent on all accounts.I knew the first time I came to the spa that I had to come back to stay and I have had consistently great stays since then. I can only compliment all your staff, congratulations on creating a seamless experience! One in particular, the lady at the spa, is absolutely lovely and knows how to make you feel at ease.If I had to be really picky and find an area for improvement, I would say breakfast may require more staff on duty as sometimes you have to wait.Thank you for the constant attention to detail and the kind gifts. I look forward to coming back soon!

Leider ist dieses 5 Stern Hotel in der letzten Renovation unerklärlicherweise optisch mit den dunklen Farben (viel Schwarz) etwas morbid geworden.Ansonsten sehr hoher Standart bis ins Detail.Ich liebte dieses Hotel bis zum letzten Umbau.Es ist aber Immer noch top !

So glad we stayed here on our trip to Bern - this hotel deserves all of the stars! The desk staff were amazing. When we checked in, we were given a map and several recommendations of things to see around the city. The woman who assisted us really seemed genuinely enthusiastic to share the city with us. Later on she also helped us find a dinner reservation (at the amazing Kornhauskellar) despite it being a very busy night and kind of last minute! Top-tier service that was deeply appreciated. Our room was lovely and roomy, with a balcony view over the bustling city. And the spa - DO NOT miss the spa. It was incredible, just so luxurious and relaxing! I need that spa in my everyday life. A pool with bubbles and fountains, a steam room, a sauna, several types of showers - it was fantastic. Anyway, this is one of the nicest - maybe THE nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in but it didn’t feel pretentious or stuffy. If you have the opportunity to visit the charming city of Bern, stay here.

Nice hotel in the very center of Bern.Room decoration was not very convenient and quite cheesy. But everything was clean and modern.It was rainy so I havent been able to enjoy the rooftop bar.Spa was super nice and as expected.

Loved this hotel! Great location within easy walking distance to the train station and old town. Historic hotel but has been beautifully renovated. Everything about that hotel's design was luxury. So many small touches that really made the hotel stand out.

My family loved staying at this hotel for our stay in Bern. The staff are very friendly and we liked that there wasn’t a snobbish feel to the place. On top of the staff being friendly, the service is also wonderful and the feeling is safe. The rooms are of great size and well taken care of. The location is perfect - walkable distance to downtown Bern’s restaurants, shops, and river. The spa is lovely and well maintained, and the rooftop bar/restaurant is a great atmosphere to hangout, eat, and play some cards. If you’re visiting Bern, stay here!

The hotel is convenient to several places to visit. It is also very close to the train station. Lots of restaurants and stores to do some shopping. The only surprise to me was how many people approached us for money every time I went to go walk/shop. This is a noisy area, but the hotel does a great job of shutting out the noise with the metal rollups that you can push a button to close. The staff was helpful, patient, and kind both at reception and spa. You made our 33rd anniversary memorable!

Amazing experience. The spa and hotel combine for the true five star experience. From the moment we walked in they made us feel special. The front desk staff were very engaging and took care of our every wish. The bed was amazing and the bathroom like it's own ensuite spa. Right off the train station and you can walk to all of the sites from there.
