Wie seriös kann ein Unternehmen sein, das Stopp-Werbung-Kleber bei Briefkästen ignoriert? Absolut unprofessionell. Wollen Sie so jemanden wirklich Ihre Steuererklärung anvertrauen? Ich empfehle: Hände weg von Steuern Meili.

Summary: STAY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM!I’ve been a long time client so I have a lot to say. Apologies for typos and for this post being too long.I’ll start by saying that they were really good, professional yet friendly, way back in 2011. Because of my extreme satisfaction, I recommended them to a number of my friends and colleagues.Fast forward to 2019/2020, I started noticing that the quality of work that I was used to started declining.1) There was a huge discrepancy from the provisional calculation they provided and the final assessment from the tax office. The discrepancy was so huge that I was expecting a 4,000 tax refund. Imagine my shock when the tax office came back and said I need to pay around 5,000.I asked them about this discrepancy and their replies were intermittent and never satisfactory. I’ve been asking for a phone call (albeit tried to call them as well) but nothing. They sent another long email but still never addressing my concerns. The issue is not a mere discrepancy. A mistake was made and nobody wants to be accountable.2) Around 2021/2022, they started losing employees. I was exchanging emails with different employees. And of course, every single time a change of employee happens, the new person takes over and reviews my documents from scratch. I’ve been a client since 2011 so they should know my profile very well. However, the turnover of staff made things more complicated and the process lengthy. In the end, guess who paid for the long hours (of which I know for sure is partly due to employee turnover)? Me! Why is the client paying for the firm’s employee turnover problem?!3) There was a year when they sent me another person’s documents. I let it pass. Looking back, that should have been a major red flag. That would have been a major cause of concern regards confidentiality. Has it happened before? Has it happened with other clients?4) I’ve had issues with a certain invoice for services rendered for my 2021 tax returns. Related story with point #1. They were aggressively chasing me for my 2023 tax returns. Out of spite, I am honest to say that I didn’t feel like replying because they never replied to my previous concerns. In the end, they dropped me as a client because of my supposed lack of response. They are so quick to point fingers and yet they conveniently forgot that they barely replied to my emails about the invoice.I can add more points but I will stop here.

Zwar besitzen die Mitarbeiter das Know-How, leider ist das Steuerbüro aber ÄUSSERST unprofessionell. Vor allem Herr Meili selbst: Unhöflich, nicht zuvorkommend und von einem guten Kundenumgang kann man hier überhaupt nicht reden. Wenn ihr nur am Wissen interessiert seid, dann nur zu. Wenn ihr aber wert auf eine nette Beratung legt, seid ihr hier an der absolut falschen Adresse. Sehr schwach!

Aus Versehen haben wir eine Rechnung doppelt beglichen und dies nach 6 Monaten realisiert. Niemand der Firma Meili hat uns kontaktiert, wir haben sie darauf hingewiesen und uns wurde der Betrag nach 2 Monaten mit einem Abzug von CHF 100.00 zurückerstattet. Was wäre wohl passiert, wenn wir uns nicht gemeldet hätten? Gleichzeitig wurde unsere Veranlagungsverfügung der direkten Bundessteuer an eine uns unbekannte Person per mail geschickt . . . .Dies alles ohne je eine Entschuldigung zu erhalten - für uns nicht verständlich und alles andere als professionell.
