It is almost sad to see that only 5000 years ago our local ancestors could not up their game to a more impressive standard while at the same time in the Levant, peoples could write and calculate. To me, the megalithic structures in other parts of the world are far more interesting, especially the recent findings of Gobekli Tepe in Turkey which is even older as well.
