If you're doing a layover in Zurich and you need to buy some souvenirs, I think supermarket is the way to go. You can buy cheaper Swiss goodies without paying the premiums of the big brands. Am not used to the water but that was cheap for 0.25 to 0.5 CHF. Very organised and we were able to get a lot of stuff for back home. Only one cashier unless you do self-checkout.

Die Pizzschnecke ist ein nicer Snack. Aber leider oft ausverkauft. Bitte öfter backen ;)

Positiv überrascht! Grosse Auswahl an frischen Produkten (Früchte, Gemüse, Fleisch, Milchprodukte). Die Portionsgrössen sind ok für einen kleineren Haushalt und der Laden selbst wirklich ordentlich. Konzeptionell (wo finde ich was) ist das Layout noch verbesserungswürdig - aber für den Preis wirklich empfehlenswert. Ciao Coop St. Annahof...

Impressive, this appears to me now. My husband and I had a horrible experience today there. The cashier was rude to us, it was around 20:30, and we bought many things in the supermarket; when we arrived at the cashier with the goods, we realized we were without bags, but we started quickly looking for some loads. The supermarket was empty. Nobody was waiting behind us to pay, and it was a really quiet place, almost time to close. When we were looking for the bag, the buy turned our bucket with the good on the cashier's desk, which was rude and aggressive. And start to put our things on another side very fast and aggressively/rudely. I was thinking about how he acts when the person buying something has some mobility problem, or maybe an old adult, which always takes extra minutes to take out the pocket or spare the money to pay. After that, I asked about Zurich Sack, and he was aggressive again. I asked about the biggest 110 liters, and he said this did not even exist. He did not tell me the other sizes or something like that.When I arrived home, I checked the things and the tax cupom, and there were two mistakes; one was the Zurich Sac. I asked about 60 liters, and he gave the 35 liters, and the Strawberries two times. Tomorrow I will talk with the responsible people. Hence this is something that can not happen to anybody else. He also damaged the bread and smashed some of our fruits. I don’t like this kind of thing, but I am thinking about people who can not even speak other languages here, English, German, or maybe are not young enough as this guy and will not be able to defend themselves from this kind of thing. I hope tomorrow I will get a clear answer about how the program will be for the development of these young people. They must be at leafs respectful to everybody. Again, this was today 14/02/2023 at around 20:30.

Übersichtlich, Preise nicht so hoch wie befürchtet

Für ALDI-Stammkunden nicht das Gelbe vom Ei, denn das Standard-Sortiment ist hier stark eingeschränkt. Im Weiteren herrscht ein Chaos punkto Auslagen und Präsentation; man muss den ganzen Laden mehrmals ablaufen, um die gewünschten Produkte zu finden. Für mich, nein danke und nie wieder.

Surprisingly same or less than in other Aldi supermarkets in town, despite two levels. On the bright side, they have self-service counters here. On the less bright side, not much else...
