The team of GPM organised the transport of my cat from Spain to Switzerland. I recently moved my two cats from Geneva to Nairobi. When I was still in the planning process, I was utterly shocked and disappointed at the ineptitude of airlines in managing what should be a straight-forward process. After several emails and over a CHF100 spent on waiting to speak to someone at Air France or KLM, I finally found someone at the KLM Cargo Division who recommended Global Pet Movers. Despite my initial natural scepticism about the entire process, Marianne from GPM was the first person to finally give me some clarity with regard to the serpentine and unnecessarily bureaucratic process of international animal transport.Marianne finally put me at ease with the knowledge that they would help us out through the process. She then put me in touch with Joël in Geneva who was just as professional and consistently supportive and kept me informed about all the prerequisites. This way I was able to organise the paperwork properly well ahead of time precluding any nasty surprises through the trip.On the day of the move, Joël had everything prepared for the check-in and I only needed to leave the cats with him. This was pivotal in reducing everyone's stress levels! The communication from him during the trip was good. Though, I would have appreciated more communication from KLM about their state during the day long stay at the Animal Hotel in Amsterdam. A picture would have gone a long way. Nonetheless, I understand that this was out of GPM's hands and given that the cats arrived at Nairobi healthy (albeit naturally scared and tired), I can only assume all went well. They were already happily exploring their new home here in Nairobi and I cannot express the relief and gratitude I feel that it all went smoothly. So, long story short, thank you Joël and Marianne. You make a huge positive difference to all these beautiful animals and their worried parents ;-) Continue the good work!

I had to relocate my cats (Princess, Sammy and Tiny) from Basel, Switzerland to Austin,Texas right in the middle of the COVID-19 flight and travel restrictions. As I could not accompany my pets I was looking for a reliable pet mover. After getting in touch with a few companies , I was underwhelmed by their response speed and they were struggling to create an itinerary. All this changed when I reached out to Global Pet Mover Switzerland. Joel Nydegger was extremely responsive and was able to get me a clear plan including Door to Door car pick up, flight readiness check up at vet and pet hotel for overnight stay at Frankfurt. The quotation even covered where the cats would get water, food and pets :) After a long trip of Basel - Zurich - Frankfurt - Houston - Austin, the cats arrived in great shape and good spirits. After the first 3 days of getting accustomed to a new place, they are now getting to know their older dog sister, Riley the Basset Hound.I would gladly recommend Global Pet Movers for any of your pet relocation needs and Joel for the extraordinary care through the Process. We had been in touch with Joel and team for more than a year about moving our two dogs from Switzerland. Our plans were constantly changing even up to a few hours before travel.
