Idillisch erholsamer Camping

Camping bien situé pour un tas de randonnées, à 500 m du départ de la crémaillère pour le Rigi et du quais pour le bateau direction Lucerne notamment. Rapport qualité/prix excellent. Nous avons apprécié la piscine et le coucher de soleil avec vue sur le lac.

Switzerland is a country famed for its politeness and appreciation of etiquette. Both qualities Mr and Mrs Zanetti severely lack.The area is beautiful. The scenery spectacular. It was the rudeness I couldn’t stand. It felt like we were constantly being observed by the East German Stasi for the mildest infraction of the house rules.We were a group of nine families with young children of all nationalities, including Swiss. We all live in the neighbouring Canton of Zurich. Perhaps that was our mistake. We had gone to this campsite simply to celebrate my daughter’s 8th birthday.Sequence of events:1. The father of one family is threatened by Mr Zanetti to be kicked out because he drove to the wrong pitch (I kid you not).2. Mrs Zanetti told us off for talking in hushed voices outside our tents after 10pm while we were in our pyjamas. She said, “If I come back in half an hour and you’re not in your tents, then you need to pack up and leave”.3. My wife went to ask if we could hang a pinata to celebrate my daughter’s birthday on the tree outside. Mrs Zanetti told her no, absolutely not because it was against the rules. She said she can go to the forest in the mountains to do it. She then turned her back to my wife without allowing my wife to reply.4. The same father of the family just mentioned was told very aggressively by Mr Zanetti to move his car as it was taking two spaces. The father agreed to do so politely as the grass in front of his tent was ill defined and his car was slightly in the second space. He went to the reception to lodge a complaint. He was told to leave immediately.5. One of the fathers from another family tried to talk to Mr Zanetti. Mr Zanetti childishly clasped his hands over his ears not to listen.6. Mrs Zanetti then said she would call the police if this family didn’t leave. So, we called the police ourselves.7. At this point they seemed to calm down and offered an apology.It was a bit like an episode of Faulty Towers, but without the humour. All of it was completely unnecessary. I hope they don’t treat all their guests like this.

Un camping agréable et calme et surtout très propre, les propriétaires sont très accueillants, les emplacements sont grands mais court en longueur max 7m50 pour un motorhome car il faut mettre des cales pour mettre le camping car de niveau. Le camping est situé non loin du quai d'embarquement des bateaux pour Luzerne et non loin de la gare du Rigi. Un petit supermarché Volg sur la grand route de Brunnen. Allez séjourner au camping de Vitznau vous ne le regretterez pas.

Prachtig gelege Camping, langs een fantastisch mooi meer. Leuk om met de boot naar Luzern te gaan. Rustige plek en mooie plaatsen met uitzicht op het meer. Mooi en schoon sanitair!
