Simply the best place if you are looking to buy a fountain pen or watch. The owner, Guillaume, has a vast selection and is very knowledgeable and hospitable. He will make sure you get a pen that suits your writing style perfectly, along with any color of ink. The best espresso I have ever had was made by him as well. If you are in Bern, you have to visit this shop.

I had a fantastic experience here - Guillaume was attentive, knowledgeable and so very kind.We stumbled across the store quite late in the day as he was closing up, but that didn't stop him from providing us with great conversation and perfect service. We ended up getting lost in conversation, trying all kinds of pens and chatting the craft for almost an hour and a half.It was such a magical experience.

I stumbled upon this place while on vacation and it was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time. When I told Guillaume I was interested in fountain pens, we spent a great deal of time trying different types and discussing the history of certain companies and styles. I said I liked an amber pen that he no longer had and he showed me multiple different options that he did have even one's that were not on display. I never felt pressured to purchase anything. Eventually, he showed me a beautiful pen that I purchased. I felt he was sincere and honest. I was happy to meet some one as excited as I am to talk about fountain pens.

Tucked at the edge of Old Town Bern, Guillame’s humble shop is an impressive collection of antique horological and writing implements.He is very accomodating and speaks fluent English and French. Had I had more time, I would’ve quizzed him more on the history of dozens of notable pieces in his collection.Nevertheless, I did not walk away empty-handed as I ending up purchasing my first Montblanc which, as if by destiny, was equipped with a left-handed nib making it my ideal pen.All in all a very memorable visit and highly recommended while you’re in Bern.

Great place to find the most unique, rare and best vintage fountain pens for collectors and users alike. The pens are all in pristine condition and most often fully repaired. Guillaume is very knowledgeable, patient and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

This was sincerely the greatest shopping experience in my entire life thus far. We spent nearly 5 hours talking with the man who runs it, as he guided me and my friend to determine the proper pen for our writing style. He also has what I consider to one of the most amazing collections of watches for sale, of which he took the time to show me each and every piece and explain their story. The man who runs it is an expert in his field, and is one of the kindest people I have met. I sincerely cannot recommend enough that you must stop in if you are interested in either watches or pens.

Guillaume was incredibly kind, funny, and generous with both his time and knowledge. He walked my wife and me through multiple, beautifully crafted vintage pens and let us try them until we found three we could not part without. Do not miss out on this store: it’s well curated and the proprietor clearly cares about his business. Make sure to ask him about his car too! Definitely a highlight of our time in Bern.
