We were two and ordered two drinks, two appetizers and two main courses. In the end we were charged 4 appetizers and also were charged extra for the rice that came with the main course (mine was 5 € extra).After all you could say we got everything we paid for but this behavior is simply dishonest and sneaky. The food was good but we feel betrayed and will never come again.

A view when the sunset makes the Lugano lake look like a painting, is to be seen from here. Enthusiastic, the owner told us that he was living here for 25 years and that the view of the lake surprised him everyday again! He painted it many times and none of his paintings were the same. His roots were from Malesia, but his heart was here. We ordered rice with shrimps, veggie noodles, and sea bass in a sweet sour sauce with steamed vegtables. The presentation and the taste were on point, as we also tried the desserts to be sure we wanted this excited feeling to go on. I have had Chinese food many times, but this was exceptional!

Sehr gut gegessen mit fantastischen Seeblick. Preis/Leistung stimmig. Empfehlung: frittiertes Eis! Parken ist am späteren Abend ein Problem, aber wenn man abends 19:00 Uhr kommt, ist freie Auswahl an Parkplätzen

Best Chinese food we have had, it is all homemade and delicious, not full of horrible additives like in the UK. The staff are very friendly and the service is very good. We went in the evening but I can imagine before the sun sets the view of the lake would be really stunning. Definitely worth a visit especially if you want a change from the usual pasta dishes.

Eine Enddeckung!Das Restaurant Perle des Orient" war für uns in mehrfacher Sicht eine Entdeckung. Und um es gleich vorweg zu schreiben: Es ist ein Restaurant mit Chinesischer Küche. Der Name hat uns erst etwas irritier. Doch im Im Englischen wird der Begriff Orient auch heute noch u. a. auch auf die ostasiatische Länder wie China und Japan sowie auf die südostasiatischen Länder Indonesien

We had a nice dinner here on our last night on lake lugano. The owner and waiting staff were very nice and forthcoming. We enjoyed the food and the appetizers were also tasty.
