Agnes prepared me for the General IELTS. She was demanding, punctual and reliable. She corrected my pronunciation until I got it just right, as well as my vocabulary and writing. I really loved to learn with her because of her bright and positive personality. I passed the exam very well and that helped me in finding a corporate position upon my return to Korea . Agnes and I became friends, keep in touch and visit each other across different continents. I worked with Agnes on my presentation for a scientific conference. Agnes corrected the presentation text, paying great attention to detail. We also worked on presentation skills and speech articulation. She adapted the classes to my needs and based them on, besides her own resources, the exact articles, PhD thesis and supplementary materials that I needed to discuss. She was very thorough and did her best to help my succeed. Indeed, the presentation and the ensuing discussion both went very well. My conversation classes with Agnes were fun and interactive. We worked with books with info graphics and video lectures as well as interesting articles. I could always consult my medical articles I needed to understand as a Medical Representative in a French company. We went over translations that my company prepared for medical papers so I could get familiar with the information necessary for my work. Not only my medical/marketing English improved with Agnes, but also my small talk skills. We talked about everything from Swiss cheese to snorkelling and that really made me feel as ease with English. I really recommend this polite, pleasant and helpful teacher.
