Hug & Mooh Freizeitaktivitäten

We had planned a trip through Switzerland, staying in Petit Val for only 3 days. On our 2nd day we found Hug & Mooh online. We are so grateful that Oliver and the farmer’s family was kind enough to give us a tour of their farm on such short notice. We had a wonderful experience! Oliver was very knowledgeable about the farm, the animals and Switzerland. He answered all of our questions and explained every little detail about the farm; from the bells and collars the animals wore, to how the grass was packaged and preserved to feed the animals in the winter. It was clear to us that the animals are happy and well taken care of. This was the most clear when Oliver explained how we must approach the cows to gain their trust. We enjoyed hugging the cows and riding the horses. In the mozzarella workshop, we were able to help create fresh mozzarella from start to finish; putting labels on it and taking it home. We were even given FRESH milk to try during dinner and it was delicious. Milk will never be the same after that. Before we left, Helen played traditional Swiss music for us on a traditional Swiss instrument while we enjoyed yogurt that was made right there on the farm. Oliver so kindly recommended a bunch of other activities we could do in Switzerland.
