Basecamp Andermatt
Basecamp is the best place for freeriders in Andermatt with great access directly on skis (ski in and out). Very welcoming atmosphere and excellent facilities including a proper Finnish Sauna and hot tub. Strongly recommended!

Basecamp was sensational! A ski in, ski out chalet; it could not be more convenient to have access to the slopes. The place is modern and well maintained. It's perfect to come with friends or family- the views cannot be beat! If you want to support a small business for a fair price, look no further.

We had a truly amazing trip to Andermatt and Basecamp was the perfect location for ski in and ski out. The people were amazing, having the sauna and hot tub were great after long days on the slopes. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Basecamp Andermatt
Excellent Experience staying at Basecamp Andermatt, the hosts are friendly, accommodating, and helpful with recommendations. We had an excellent time meeting other guests who were staying there as well. The sauna, hot tub were excellent bonuses on top of the spacious kitchen, dining room, and living room areas. Can't recommend Basecamp Andermatt enough, and will certainly be back.

Great little hostel for someone who enjoys company of like minded people. This place has incredible views from the sauna and hot tub and very well equipped kitchen and comfortable clean rooms.If you are looking for a luxury 5 star hotel you may be disappointed. This is different kind of luxury.

Awesome place, staff is amazing and location is good, the best sunset in Andermatt for sure. Kitchen is perfect to make your own meals and to keep your budget on control. And when traveling alone like myself, You can find company to go ski with to backcountry, and the owner Lars gives You good tips for places to go. Highly recommend, definetly gonna come back again.

Wonderful ski in ski out lodge. Clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location.The host family are very friendly and give excellent advice about the town, the skiiing or any other questions you may have.Met some great people here and had a fantastic time. The kitchen is large and well equipped making it easy to cook your own meals and the sauna is amazing after a long day of skiing.Really can't recommend this place enough for a ski vacation.

Basecamp was incredible! Lars was awesome and super friendly, perfect location, and super clean kitchen and bathrooms. Super quick access to the town and the gondola! This was by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in, could not have asked for anything better.The room was super clean and very spacious. Comfortable bed and clean sheets.

Fantastic mountain lodge run by a very nice family. Great hosts, very helpful, super eager to share information about a the area. The true definition of ski-in ski-out. The lodge has a great layout. Fully equipped. Clean. Comfortable. Friendly. Great views. Good vibes. Excellent value for your money. Overall a great experience. Would love to visit again.
