War mal vor zwei Jahren hier: Top. Jetzt war ich nochmals da: eine blosse Enttäuschung! Preise nach wie vor sehr hoch, Qualität des Essens und Auswahl eher Durchschnitt. Grosses Minus jedoch an den Service. Etwas unfreundlich, fast schon arrogant. Dann haben wir ganz klar ZWEI Gläser Merlot bestellt, der Kellner lässt die ganze Flasche stehen. Ich erkläre es ihm nochmals, wir benötigen nur zwei Gläser (ich bin der italienischen Sprache durchaus mächtig). Er nimmt die Flasche mit. Dann, auf der Quittung, nochmals die Flasche drauf! Tut mir leid, aber das ist schon fast Absicht. Wir kommen nicht mehr.

Wurde von einem höchst arroganten, jungen Kellner bedient im durchschnittlich besetzten Restaurant/Terrasse.Vielleicht darum, wei ich nicht mehr ganz jung bin und alleine da war zum essen. Seine Sprache (It und En) habe ich schlecht verstanden und dieser unhöfliche Angestellte hat es nicht für notwendig empfunden, einen seiner Kollegen beizuziehen.Schade - für mich war das Ristorante Bottegone DAS Restaurant in Lugano; vergangenen Montag definitiv das letzte Mal.

This was a disappointing restaurant/wine bar. The first day we came, we were able to sit there for couple hours enjoying a bottle of Italian red wine. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable.We decided to come back the next day for some different wines and have dinner. We were told that dinner wasn’t until 7 so we decided to have some wine anyway and have dinner later. Finished the first glass of wine and waited to order another. After 15-20 minutes of no one coming out, we decided that it wasn’t worth it trying to stay for dinner. We would have happily had another glass of wine and, by the time we finished it, have had dinner at 7. But no one seemed interested. Too bad, great wines here and heard dinner was good as well.

Schlechter, unaufmerksamer Service. Mussten zuerst warten, bis er endlich mal vorbei kam, dann schaute er uns fragend an - Karte brachte er uns keine. Wir haben dann einen Aperol Spritz bestellt...das war der schlechteste und eher teurer (CHF 14.-) Aperol Spritz, den wir je getrunken haben. Wir vermuten, dass es sich um einen vorgemischten Aperol aus der Flasche handelte..schmeckte au jeden Fall gar nicht...wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Auch mussten wir aktiv auf das Service Personal zugehen, um die Rechnung zu begleichen.

Beautiful seating area. I really enjoyed my risotto. Others in the group were not so happy with their meat dish. The fish was light and fresh and tasty. I thought the atmosphere was charming and lovely and the staff was very forthcoming.

We had dinner here the first night we arrived in Lugano. The waiter was super friendly and knowledgeable. We got free appetizers as soon as we sat down. Menu choices were few but everything was extremely tasty and fresh. I also loved the wine variety they have at hand. We chose a bottle of Terre Nere from Sicily. It was wonderful.

Really good food, super great staff. They allowed me to try many wines but the reason for the one 4 star rating was due to the wine selection.

It's remarkable to find an authentic and high-quality restaurant so close to a touristic" center.It was wonderfully refreshing to be presented with a chalkboard menu
