We were so lucky to rent the second floor apartment for one year as Visiting Professors at the University of Zurich. We could not have asked for a better living arrangement, made our year in Zurich the best year we could ask for.Apartment - Dining room, each of the 3 bedrooms and balcony all have amazing views of Lake Zurich. All 3 bedrooms have king-size beds. Balcony overlooks Lake Zurich and the Alps. Modern bathroom and kitchen with heated flooring, temperature- controlled shower and tub. Top appliances all around.Location - Witikon is a green, lush neighborhood in the city of Zurich. Luegete is a secluded street leading to the forest with trails, waterfalls and playground. Bus stop is 3 mins walk and bus 31 takes you to main train station in 15 mins. Public transportation is of the highest quality and reliable. There are walking trails to the city center through forests, streams and waterfalls, 30-40 mins.Juerg and Valeria are the most responsive, helpful and caring owners - it was a delight to get to know them and they made our stay the best we could ask for.
