Knock on Wood - Craft Factory

I highly recommend the Knock on Wood workshop to all wood working enthusiasts. The place is very spacious and very well equipped with all the tools and machines one needs to complete all kinds of project, even the most advanced ones. It is a great place to learn the trade in a friendly atmosphere.Working with Santi has been a real value added throughout the various stages of my project. He is a very talented furniture maker and his passion for woodworking is communicative. Santi was able to provide valuable design advice and troubleshooting expertise to help me work through some of the challenges I faced. Overall a great experience!

It was the first time I have been to a wood-working workshop and absolutely loved it. Overall it was a great experience and was impressed by the organization and pace of the workshop. The group size was perfect as we were all able to learn how to operate the machinery and use it on our own, which was very cool. Santi was a great instructor and knows a lot about working with wood. I will definitely return soon.

Absolutely wonderful space and woodwork courses. Zsuzsanna and Maximo were great teachers and were able to create a fun learning environment and spark an interest in continuing with the wood work journey. I highly recommend!

I had a great experience in this woodworking session. It was the first time ever that I tried anything related with carpentry and the result was great. Apart from learning new skills, now I have a unique and personalized piece. I used machines that I never thought about using so I felt like a pro! :) Santi was a great teacher, he gives clear instructions and you can notice that he loves what he does.I'd definitely come back to make other things that I need for my home haha plus it's a great opportunity to meet other people with similar interests.

I was always hesitant to start woodworking as I thought it required a large upfront investment for equipment, so I was super happy to learn about Knock on Wood! It has enabled me to learn and practice lots of woodworking skills and make awesome projects in a well-equipped shop.

Zsuzsanna and Santi are both very experienced, friendly, and have designed an excellent program that develops your skills in woodworking. The workshop is spacious with lots of tools and machines and they have everything you need to stay safe and protected on hand (aprons, eye and ear protection).It is amazing to see what can be accomplished in just one session and how a single project can be built around a specific tool or technique. In my first session we used the planer, router table, and chop saw for machines as well as gluing, clamping, sanding, and finishing.Can't wait for the next session!

I did the beginners workshop with a friend and we absolutely loved it. I still am in awe of the beautiful wooden cutting boards we crafted in just one evening. Zsuzsanna and Santi are excellent teachers and a lot of fun. The workshop space is easily accessible, spacious, clean and professional and makes you want to continue creating. It was an excellent evening after-work activity, which I can only recommend to anyone (of any age)! We will be back for more for sure. As a bonus: Zsuzsanna and Santi speak many languages, so this is also great for a multi-lingual group.

Merci à Zsu et à Santi pour ces supers ateliers sur le travail du bois. Je n’y connaissais pratiquement rien…Avec patience ils m’ont fait découvrir le tournage du bois pour Zsu et la sculpture sur bois pour Santi.Une très belle découverte avec de nouvelles sensations, l’odeur du bois, sa transformation depuis le bloc brut et les différentes étapes jusqu’au rendu final avec un toucher si délicat et doux…J’ai hâte d’y retourner !!
