Ma filles de 4 ans et demi a fait une semaine de cours de ski avec en bonus l'obtention de la médaille princesse bleue.La monitrice (Anne) était très gentille, très patiente et vraiment super adaptée avec les petits enfants. Ma fille a beaucoup progressé durant cette semaine!De plus, le domaine skiable est vraiment grandiose!!!

My son 5yo and daughter 7yo lived the ski school, especially the teachers, Jimmy, Marie and Charlotte. I took a private lesson and was able to ski blue and red piste after 2 hrs. Great teachers!

Les profs sont super, ils sont patients et expliquent bien aux enfants. En 4 leçons d'une heure mon fils a fait des progrès énormes. Un grand merci à Nicolas et Nino :-)A la saison prochaine avec ma fille cette fois.

Quite poor. My son is three and a half and was enrolled in the ski school during this winter school half-term holiday. However, it was a negative experience, with the school geared towards making as much money as possible by accepting high numbers, rather then focusing on quality of tuition. Ahead of the course my son could ski a snow plough and the aim was that he would refine this and also practice simple plough turns. However, for some inexplicable reason he was placed in a group with much older children - also in a group of 10 rather than the promised 6-7 participants - which is unacceptable in itself. Because the older children were obviously learning at a different pace, this led to the instructor refusing to teach my son after Day 2 because he had to spend too much time with him, at which point my son was put back in the snow park with very small children. N.B. We were told that it wasn’t a question of ability - since the instructor actually said that my son has the level but just ‘doesn’t want to listen’. Well, he’s three and a half. Some career advice for this instructor. If you don’t enjoy your job - i.e. teaching children to ski - then find another profession. Impatience, few words of encouragement. Not great. (This from a morning spent observing). In theory, over the 4 days you should get roughly 7.5 hours on skis. In practice, I think you’d be lucky to get 5, due to this school over-booking and the overcrowded slopes in this domain. We complained in person and the problems weren’t acknowledged by management, although in fairness the head of the ski school did phone my wife to discuss and a free lesson was offered.

Great teachers all round! Ski teachers are really experienced, patient, kind and professional.Just had Mehdi teach my four kids to board too. Fantastic experience, great pedagogical approach and lots of fun!

My family really enjoyed our lessons with Loris! He was very patient with each of us and gave clear directions to our group of beginners. Loris made the lessons fun and adjusted to each person’s skill level. We progressed so much over the two days of lessons. We hope to come back and take more lessons!

This is the place where I learned to ski and kept going for several years at least 2-3 times per year with the whole family, taking lessons for 4 people for 4-5 days at a time. They used to be friendly, efficient and customer orientated. With time, they became a little greedy and money became more important than costumer service. We stopped going there when for a couple of times we were put in groups of very different abilities because of lack of costumers, so they could have a good size group with only one instructor. Problem is, it was a waste of time and money for everyone involved, unless you were blunt enough to leave as soon as you realised, as some did, but I didn't. We were also forced (not really forced but they refused to move the lesson to another day as they had done in the past) to ski in pretty bad snow storms. Good thing is that since we stopped using them we started trying some other resorts, and we have found some real gems of little resorts and excellent schools not that far from Villars, where you can find excellent snow (much better than Villars as they are higher, less sunny and not so busy), without Villar's long queues, and included in the Magic pass: Nax, St Luc, Grimentz...to name just a few. In summary, I loved it in 2013, but I would not go back now that I explored other resorts and tried other schools. That said, I loved every single one of their instructors, they are all very knowledgeable, passionate and professional.
