Hotel Glärnischhof by trinity

Standort top, mit Parkmöglichkeit direkt vor dem Hotel (wir sind sonntags angereist, da darf man sogar gratis parken). Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, nur der TV ist so klein, dass man nix sieht vom Bett. Dazu waren Bar und Lokal geschlossen. Das sollte es niemals geben in einem vier Sterne Hotel. Da erwarte ich keine 24/7, aber zumindest tägliche Öffnung.

I checked into the property a few minutes after midnight, I had a late flight.Checked in and was given a key to room 309Walked in and genuinely the room smelled and it reminded me of smoke, knowing that most hotel rooms don’t allow smoking that was odd.Looked up at the ceiling and the paint was cracking and falling down.Looked at the carpets and they were stained.I’m paying over CHF500 per night whilst here and really not what I expected.Contacted the member of staff who checked me in, initially he said he couldn’t smell anything - and then I showed him the paint falling off the ceiling to which he accepted it wasn’t good enough.He also said he was fully booked so couldn’t move me and I should speak to his manager in the morning.Completely unacceptable, I was there for work the following day and this is the worst thing you can expect arriving late to a hotel.

This is a super central hotel where all of Zurich is accessible.Beds are very comfortable.The staff is funny and helpful and go out of their way to serve.The breakfast is amazing and great value.This is a hidden gem.Highly recommend!

We booked a queen sized bed one month ahead and were given a twin bed when we complained they joined the twin beds and said sorry that is what is available currently. The front desk staff have an attitude of their own and don't cooperate. We complained about the smell in the room and asked for an air freshener or room spray the old man at the reception first said that he didn't have any and later gave us one and tartly told us ro return it to him immediately. The breakfast menu is limited and in 3days of our stay they was never any fruit.

Die Zimmer erfüllen den 4Sterne Standard auf keinen Fall und sind Renovations bedürftig. Es stinkt( nach altem Käse) , wahrscheinlich vom Teppich. In einem Zimmer gab's noch ein Blutfleck am Vorhang.Einige Stühle im Restaurant sind überzogen, da das Leder gerissen hat.Das Frühstückbuffet ist gut. Hat eine reichliche Auswahl.Das beste ist die Bar , toller Service super Personal und eine grosse Auswahl. Es werden sogar Drinks aus eigenen Wünschen gemixt! Echt Toll!!!Die Lage ist sehr gut.Der Preis 119.- p.P. inkl. Frühstück für Zürich angemessen.

Very nice small hotel, Rooms are clean, sould proof windows. Breakfast is good, you have all kind of juice, fruits, cheese , yougorts, and omlete make on rhe spot. Good coffee.Hotel stafc is very friendly and attentive.Praking is on the street with paying by the hour or there is a near by parking garage.Few minutes of walking to the Zurich lake where you can sit on a bench and watch the lake.In room there is small coffee maker but it did not worked for us....overall nice small hotel for a stay of a night or two while in Zurich.

4 stars? I don't think so. This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. It is so loud at night, that you think you're sleeping alongside the highway. The room was disgusting: tables not wiped, carpet very dirty, main lightbulb in bathroom missing (staff's answer sorry can't change that")

The room was not clean and AC was so loud and not cool enough. The housekeeper didn't vacuum the floor. Very few breakfast choices. Will definitely not coming back any more

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. It is centrally located - 2 min from the lake, 2 min from tram stations and restaurants. The rooms are clean, breakfast is good and staff are very attentive. The building itself is old dated..

Hotel is located in strictly center. Very close to the main square. Stuff on the reception told us we have to park in garage nearby which costs 40 Swiss francs for twelve hours of parking. Shover in the bathroom sprayed everywhere, just not where it had to. Wardrobes looked outdated, but it didn’t look like that on pictures. I’ve been in better hotels with breakfast what means it was pretty poor.
