Ich durfte während 3 Monaten Privatunterricht 1:1 bei Virginie geniessen. Sie versteht es sehr gut, den Unterricht individuell, sehr abwechslungsreich und auch mal spontan zu gestalten.Virginie ist geduldig, lässt einem die Zeit, die man braucht und gibt viele nützliche Tipps, um seine Ziele zu erreichen.Zudem ist sie als Person sehr angenehm und immer gut gelaunt!Ich bin dem Ziel, die französische Sprache lieben und sprechen zu lernen, und um nebenbei das Niveau B2 zu erreichen, einen grossen Schritt weitergekommen.Vielen herzlichen Dank für die kompetente Arbeit und viel Erfolg weiterhin mit Cosy French, welches ich unbedingt empfehlen kann.

The best french teacher I ever had, Virgine gives really constructive courses and in 1 year I improved my french so much, that I can understand almost everything now and have good conversations with friends, strangers, people in general ! I would totally recommend her courses!!

I began taking lessons with Virginie during the summer of 2021. When I was moving to Switzerland and applying for my B-permit, I was required to show that I was signed up for lessons and then to take the FIDE within a year. I found Cosy French and reached out — we had a first meeting over zoom, and I thought her style was perfect for me ! Moreover, Virginie was able to give me the form I needed for the Canton to make my application possible. Within a few weeks, I was in Lausanne, and we started our lessons.With what seemed like no time at all, she quickly had me remembering all the French I had learned when I was ten to 12 years old, but had not used at all for more than 15 years. I could not believe how quickly she had me remembering and improving with new and useful vocabulary and grammar. After a few months, we switched to practicing for the FIDE, which I was able to pass easily.After the FIDE, I continued lessons for sometime to get a strong grasp of B1 spoken and B2 written, and I am very grateful for the knowledge. I highly recommend for anyone new to Lausanne looking to learn or to improve or even to remember (!!) their French !

Virginie is a great teacher. I followed private lessons to improve my french and the tailor made lessons helped me prepare for a job interview and also for the FIDE exam. Highly recommended !

J'ai suivi plusieurs cours de conversation avec Virginie et je dois dire que je les ai vraiment appréciés. Sa façon de diriger les cours est très avantageuse pour des personnes que, comme moi, n'ont pas d'horaires fixes et qui doivent s'organiser différemment chaque semaine. Virginie est très flexible en termes d'horaires et de lieu (elle vous permet de suivre les cours également sur Zoom tout en maintenant une haute qualité d’enseignement). De plus, un autre point fort de son école est sans aucun doute le fait que le cours est fait sur mesure pour vous, en fonction de vos besoins, de votre niveau de français, mais aussi de vos préférences. En fait, un aspect que j'ai vraiment apprécié dans les cours de Virginie est qu'ils étaient adaptés à mes nécessites professionnelles et focalisés sur mes faiblesses.J'ai fait de grandes améliorations en peu de temps, qui ont été remarquées par moi, car je me suis sentie plus à l'aise avec la langue, mais aussi par les autres, car ma capacité à converser est devenue beaucoup plus fluide et mon vocabulaire s'est beaucoup enrichi. Enfin, un autre aspect positif de ces cours est que Virginie a toujours plusieurs propositions d'activités à faire, ce qui donne la possibilité de décider ensemble et de beaucoup varier le programme. Nous avons travaillé avec des fiches de grammaire, des articles de journaux, des sites d'information, des chansons, des films, des vidéos, des exercices d'écoute, des images d'actualité et beaucoup d'autres pistes de conversation. Enfin, Virginie vous met très à l'aise et crée une atmosphère de travail favorable et agréable.

Mes cours de français avec Cosy French étaient super. Virginie était encourageante, flexible et a rendu le matériel accessible. En bonus inattendu, des conseils personnalisés pour visiter Lausanne et la région ! Highly recommend!

I can only recommend learning french with Virginie.She starts by evaluating your level of french and after individualizes the courses based on individual levels - topics are even chosen on interests! :)Depending on how much time you are willing to invest she will give you homework accordingly.The classes themselves are heavily focusing on speaking and the explaining of grammar, whereas homework focuses on applying grammar, reading, writing and listening comprehension.I took weekly semi-private classes with a friend of mine and have noticed a big jump" right in the beginning.Virginie will encourage and help to gain confidence to use french in everyday life.Thanks to Virginie the hard language of french became manageable and fun to learn."

Virginie helped me with my French after I moved to Switzerland. I met with her one-on-one and also participated in a conversation course. The experience was worthwhile and my French conversation skills improved quickly.French classes are often large and impersonal. However, Cosy French creates an atmosphere that is welcoming, engaging, and true to its name, cosy.

Virginie is the best! My goal was to study for the B2 Delf exam. She was very helpful in teaching and preparing me for what the exam requirements were and encouraged me a lot in my strengths and weaknesses. She is very kind and relaxed, and creates a great environment for learning, Cosy French sums it up very well! Thanks to her I passed the B2 well!
