In Chamonix, I hit a curb with the left front wheel of my car. Later (while parking in Geneva) I noted a bulge that had formed on the side of the tyre.Driving more than 1000km to the Netherlands was way to dangerous. I looked for a nearby Audi service station, and found one in Vich (halfway Geneva and Lausanne) On my way to that dealer I passed Garage Auto Vich" a Euromaster station

I've often gone to Euromaster in the past to buy new tyres for both our cars. Today, I requested an offer and my experience was not up to scratch:- It was very complicated to get a full price out of the lady on the telephone, she kept telling me about price per tyre without the price of mounting them so I had to write my own quick spreadsheet to do the calculations...- The prices quoted, from a no-name brand to a Michelin, were significantly higher than the quote we got from the garage where our car is serviced.Maybe I was unlucky today, or maybe they decided that I wouldn't do price comparisons since I was a regular customer... They were wrong.
