Experimental Chalet

Room are small, but otherwise top boutique hotel. Fantastic service. Restaurant is our favourite in Verbier.

New hotel in town where the old Nevai used to be. Great interior design, nice restaurant and comfortable rooms with good service.

Really cute, nice and convenient hotel. The staff are so pleasant - they just seemed generally happy on top of being really very helpful (shoutout to Margaux for going above and beyond).The shuttle service was super useful and the breakfast & hotel bar & spa all delivered (although the jacuzzi could've been warmer, seems to be a European thing as we saw this in other hotels).Only critique was the hotel was pretty hot at night, but the Alps are indeed in the middle of a historically warm summer, so again wasn't the only hotel on our trip that had this).Deeply recommend, hope to come back again

Overall, it’s been a fairly pleasant stay. However, there are a few details that definitely could be improved. If I were to come back to Verbier, I likely would not stay here again and would recommend other prospective guests look into other options in the area.—————PROS:The shuttle service (including the drivers), cleaning staff, restaurant / bar staff and Martina from the concierge desk were all great! The hotel is also centrally located and (mostly) clean.The drivers have been incredibly friendly and the shuttles are very convenient. Remi and Dylan help you with your skis and bring you directly to the main gondola. They also are very responsive when you call for pick ups.The woman who checked us in and out of the hotel was lovely! She took care of our luggage, explained the bill and was generally very friendly. She also connected us with Martina, which was great.Martina at the concierge desk was very helpful and responsive in coordinating dinner reservations and other suggestions for things to do.All of the restaurant and bar staff were friendly, and the breakfast was particularly great.—————CONS:The front desk staff have been incredibly unhelpful, especially as we faced a major issue that required attention. My boyfriend lost his wallet, and when we asked the front desk for help / advice, they could not be bothered to assist in the least. They provided zero recommendations for how to approach the situation, and one woman rolled her eyes when we asked to check one of the shuttle vehicles and ski room. We went to the W to retrace our steps, and the staff there - who had no obligation to help people who weren’t even staying at the hotel - were extremely kind and obliging, and offered several steps for us to take in order to resolve the issue. Ultimately, the wallet was found on the floor of the ski room - definitely would have been easy for the front desk staff at Experimental to find if they had even offered to help at all. Unfortunately, that was not the case and the women working the front desk during our stay have not even done so much as follow up with us to see if we’ve found it.The lobby area and the ski room also smell strongly of sewage. This is likely because there’s a nearby bathroom, however, this is extremely unpleasant to deal with as you walk through the hotel and certainly not what you would expect from a “luxury, boutique hotel.”The spa is also very average, although the staff and esthetician were very nice. That said, the overall experience is not what you’d expect for services that cost as much as the prices you’d see at major luxury hotel brands.

The staff is nice and kind. The breakfast is good but not outstanding. The complimentary shuttle to the télécabine and the ski room are a fantastic plus for skiers.The Spa is nice, unfortunately the jacuzzi was not fully working and one noozle was missing, there was no staff at the spa to let them know (i think they don't have someone assigned to the spa front desk but only staff for treatments).The room was nice, quite spacious, with a good amenity kit. They also have a turnout service which is lovely. I wish the room had more useful furniture, there was space for a bettere armchair and desk - it did not feel super cozy very minimal decoration. The windows were a little small but because we were on the 4th floor the light was good.Overall a good experience, would recommend but not convinced it's worth it at high season prices.

Loin du stress de la ville, optée pour un séjour dans la nature à Verbier avec le chalet expérimental. Très belle chambre superbement bien équipé avec une vue incroyable sur le paysage de la région. Cerise sur le gâteau, la vue se fait du jacuzzi qui se trouve sur la terrasse !

We loved our stay at Experimental Chalet! From daily breakfasts to the complimentary shuttle to the gondola, everyone we encountered was fantastic. The employees were super kind and accommodating. There was noise from Farm Club on Friday and Saturday nights but it wasn’t too bad, and easily drowned out with white noise or the ear plugs that were provided. We did have a delay in getting our ski passes (through the Epic Pass), but I did not realize it may take some time to hear back from the resort. We failed to get it squared away day 1 so had a shorter first day of skiing, so just be sure to show your Epic Pass upon arrival and don’t expect to ski the day you check in. It wasn’t a problem and we still got plenty in, just heads up! Overall, a lovely time here and we would recommend to anyone.

Das Hotel ist gut, Preis-Leistung stimmt aber nicht. Man bezahlt vor allem für den Standort Verbier...

De belles chambres spacieuses et décorées avec goût, une superbe vue sur la région depuis le balcon et l'espace spa. Le tout sublimé par un accueil personnalisé et chaleureux de toute l'équipe, nous avons passé un très bon moment !
