Mountain Hostel

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this hostel with friends. It is situated in one of the most stunning areas I have ever seen.The staff are the most happy and helpful group of people I have ever been around, which speaks volumes in itself. Everything is very clean and set out beautifully. It has the most wonderful inviting and relaxed atmosphere.The views are breathtaking.We had fondue one evening that was just delicious. Also lucky enough to have a band playing that night as well! A great round off to the evening.I highly recommend this place, you will definitely not be disappointed!!

Seit einigen Jahren floriert dieses Hostel und ist für mich gleichermassen ein Rückzugsort aber auch eine tolle Konzertlocation geworden. Das Hostel wird überaus liebevoll geführt, das Team ist sehr freundlich, die Verpflegung schmeckt mir und ist preislich auch völlig fair. Irgendwie hat es die Leitung des Hostels dort geschafft, eine fröhliche, lustige und angenehme Kultur unter den Gästen zu etablieren, die mich jedesmal von neuem freut. So etwas habe ich sonst noch nirgends erlebt. Toll sind auch das einzigartige Ambiente im Gemeinschaftsbereich und die vielen tollen Wanderwege gleich um die Ecke.Die Privatzimmer kann ich zur Übernachtung sehr empfehlen.

Amazing mountain retreat for a calm and beautiful getaway after a long and stressful week! The great and kind-hearted hosts immediately make you feel welcome and do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible! Live music, great pizza and cheerful evenings with the other guests round up the memorable experience.

Dieser Ort ist einfach wunderschön und das hostel macht es noch schöner. Alles entspannt hier , das Konzept, das Personal, die Leute, ein Traum. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt ,ich werde bestimmt wieder kommen.

Evening meal during summer. Attentive staff, cosy traditional surroundings and a nice vibe. Absolutely stunning views across the valley to towering mountains. Schwartz Monch beer is delicious and strong. We had the set meal and were suitable impressed with the freshness of local produce. Highly recommend.

What’s not to love about this place. Views are stunning! Pizza was some of the best we had on our entire trip. Would love to come back when they have outdoor live music. A must stop and great vibes.

Wir haben 3 Tage in einem privaten Doppelzimmer verbracht. Lage, Aussicht und Atmosphäre sind nicht zu übertreffen. Für ein Hostel überaus sauber! Die Pizza ist ein Muss :))

Amazing view (obviously), some of the best pizza I’ve ever tried and offers a good variety of toppings. Service was very friendly, highly recommend.

If you have the chance to stay here I would absolutely recommend. There are so many beautiful hikes all around the hostel and the views are stunning. The staff here are so friendly and go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. This is also an amazing place for solo travellers, this hostel has so much spirit and is a great place to meet fellow backpackers!

Found this beautiful hostel through videos on social media and it did not disappoint. The views and atmosphere were as amazing as advertised. Stayed in both a large shared room and the private room, and I would recommend booking early and getting the popular private room if traveling as a couple. The only downside was the flies in the common area, but it doesn’t take away from the nice experience. The pizzas were also really good.The attached video shows our commute from Lauterbrunnen, with all travel included in the Swiss travel pass.
